The Director General of the ARC Professor Abdelmoneim Taha paid a visit to the Agricultural Plant Genetic Resources Conservation and Research Centre (APGRC) in Wad Medani on the morning of Thursday 5 November 2020. During this visit he visited the field of the APGRC, where a number of research activities are conducted for characterization, evaluation and multiplication of local genetic resources of crops such as sorghum, sesame, groundnut, cowpea, okra, watermelon and roselle. He visited as well the seed bank and laboratories of the centre. He was also enlightened on the activities being undertaken by the Information Management Section of the APGRC
